Production continues on Netflix's second season of The Witcher and now we have our first look at Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, sporting some new armour. This all-black ensemble is a nice change-up compared to Geralt's attire in season 1 and besides his iconic wolf medallion the armour also features a new leg strap for potions on-the-go!
Along with the photos, Netflix also provided a new official description for The Witcher Season 2, which confirms some news that will make fans very happy indeed, that Geralt will visit Kaer Morhen with other witchers making their live-action debut.“Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.”
Netflix will release The Witcher Season 2 in 2021.
