Singer-songwriter & Record Producer D'Angelo just announced his quickly-to-be-released new highly-anticipated and long-overdue new studio album titled Black Messiah! The new album is released under D'Angelo And The Vanguard and comes after a 14 year hiatus from music!! The projects album listening session will take place in New York City this weekend and then officially be released on Monday, December 15th! Surprisingly but accurate - D'Angelo has only 2 prior studio albums in his entire musical career Brown Sugar (2005) and Voodoo (2000) but has performed five major live tours around the world and will reportedly launch his The Second Coming Tour in 2015!
D'Angelo also released the first single for the set titled "Sugah Daddy" via SoundCloud!
In May, D'Angelo recently attended the Red Bull Music Academy Festival (NYC) interview series event at The Brooklyn Museum and was interviewed by Host George Nelson and the singer spoke about many areas of his successfully long career.
