"The Lost Daughter" is a psychological drama written AND directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. Maggie Gyllenhaal was an amazing actress in The Dark Knight, and we cannot wait to see her directing and writing skills!

"The Lost Daughter" film adaptation is based on the book, also titled "The Lost Daughter," by Elena Ferrante.
