Up in Flames!

Good Morning Lovelies!

I feel as though it's been ages since I've done something "edgier" on my nails, but with Glam Polish lacquer names such as Devil in Disguise and Burning Love, I truly could not resist the temptation of having flames at my fingertips...

For this manicure, I created a rough brushed gradient of three Glam Polish lacquers: Far Far Away (orange), Devil in Disguise (red), and Burning Love (berry red). You can see swatches of Burning Love in my previous post and the other two further down below...

The flames, I stamped using Wet 'n Wild Black Creme and Messy Mansion plate MM27...

Can you feel the heat?
I've been so into floral and swirly manicures lately that I almost forgot how much I like the darker side, but leave it to Glam Polish to remind me...

Devil in Disguise is a bright tomato red with glass fleck shimmer. It has an easy to apply formula that is a bit sheer/crelly on first coat, but provides perfect coverage with the 2nd coat. The shimmer is gorgeous with bits of holo and sadly my photos don't do it justice. Swatches are with a top coat...

Far Far Away is a peachy orange with holo shimmer and glitter. It is from last month's Forever After collection and has turned out to be my favorite shade this summer. I've worn it twice already and I'm tempted to go for third. It fascinates me because outdoors, even when overcast, it is a gorgeous bright orange, but indoors it somehow becomes a sweet peachy color that almost blends with my skin tone. I know I don't usually wax poetic about polish colors, even when I love them, but this one somehow got to me. The formula is great. Two coats for full coverage and swatches are with a top coat...

Ahh, so gorgeous...

Devil in Disguise and Burning Love are part of the The Glam Polish The King Collection Part 2, A Tribute to The Legendary King Of Rock N Roll, Elvis Presley.
