The number of cases for the previous week, (week up to August 2) has been revised from 2 to 3 after one confirmed case from Tonkolili in Sierra Leone was added.
Only one of the cases reported in the week up to 9th August was a registered contact.
Currently over 1,600 contacts remain under observation in 4 perfectures in Guinea and 2 districts in Sierra Leone.
The 2 cases in Guinea are from Forecariah and Conakry. The single case in Sierra Leone is from Freetown.
For Liberia, no new cases were reported in the week up to August 9. All contacts in Liberia have now completed their 21-day follow up period.
