Residents of Eastlands area of Umoja were woken early in the morning with a drama when a middle aged woman threw her mpango wa kando pants from the balcon.
Its said that the man who is a fruit vendor within the estate came home last night empty handed. The woman claimed that there was no flour for ugali and she was forced to use her own money to buy flour and vegetables. She prepared supper before retiring to bed. Hell broke loose in the morning when the woman requested for some money to buy breakfast but to her surprise the man did not bother.
The lady was heard making alot of noise that attracted the attention of onlookers, "Toka kwangu wewe ni mwanaume haina gani unalishwa na mwanamke, jana ulikuja bila unga sahii nimekuomba pesa ya breakfast hauna mimi hapa kwangu sina mtoto wa kulisha", the woman shouted. The woman forced the man out of the house and started throwing his belongings from the balcon. What surprised many is the way she threw the pants of the man one by one symbolising seven days of a week.
"Kwanzia leo usiwahi kanyaga hapa kwangu chukua izo takataka zako na uende ukipata pesa ndio urudi", she lamented, meaning "from today dont come to my place take your rubbish and leave come back when you have money". According to reports the lady was her mpango wa kando and they have been together for a while.
