Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are officially husband and wife after tying the knot in an opulent ceremony in Lake Como, Italy. Photos from their super-private nuptials are scarce, but the newlyweds shared official images from the celebrations on Instagram yesterday.
The wedding was a two-day spectacle at the scenic Villa del Balbianello overlooking Lake Como, according to E! News. The festivities kicked off with a Konkani ceremony on Wednesday and a Sindhi ceremony on Thursday, to honor the bride and groom's backgrounds, CNN reports.

The Konkani had a white color scheme, according to paparazzi shots outside the ceremony. Singh stuck to the theme in a pale kurta while Padukone wore a burnt orange and gold sari covered with traditional kundan jewelry.
The following day, the couple went all-out in crimson and gold traditional wedding attire. Padukone was dripping in jewels, including a maang-tikka dangling over her forehead, stacked bracelets on both wrists, and gold kalira—umbrella-like ornaments often worn by Punjabi brides—hanging from her bangles. She also wore a number of rings on her intricately hennaed hands.
This look was all about the details—there was even a Sanskrit quote embroidered onto the hem of her dupatta: "Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava," which roughly translates to "may you always be lucky as a married woman," The Hintdustan Times reports.
Both the bride and groom wore looks by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, one of the country's top designers, who's known for his glamorous take on traditional Indian fashion.

"While his designs are very decadent, they're still simple and in monotone as opposed to the bright, clashing colors we often see at Indian weddings," journalist and stylist Spardha Malik told CNN.
Padukone also wore Sabyasachi for her pre-wedding celebrations with a printed orange look, which the designer shared on Instagram earlier this month, hinting that he was also making her wedding dresses.
Fellow actress Priyanka Chopra, who'll also get married this month, left congratulatory comments on the couple's posts. She wrote "Insanely beautiful!" on Padukone's post and "Stunning!" on Singh's.
The Bollywood star and Quantico alum is also bound to have a lavish wedding, as she and singer Nick Jonas will tie the knot at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India.
